The Vary Foundation is a charitable foundation for raising and distributing funds for scholarships and fees primarily focusing on the financial need for deserving students at select secondary and collegiate institutions.

WE PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR…

The Foundation provides support to students in need. We will not identify or screen applicants—that job remains with the secondary and collegiate institutions. In return for our assistance, we only ask that the educational institution provides us with feedback information on recipients of the Foundation funds. While the scholarship assistance by the Foundation has no strings attached, it is our hope that in the future the Foundation will become self-sustaining through contributions from former recipients and others.

 

The Vary Foundation has several initial targeted institutions for 2023-2024: St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio; Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.; Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School in Chardon, Ohio; Beaumont High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio; and Arts Impact in Cleveland, Ohio.

OUR ROLE

Our goal is to “pay it forward” to needy and deserving students, for whom the support is necessary to continue their educational goals. The Foundation has a core fund that it has invested with the hopes and goal that the fund will provide a dividend of from 5 to 10 percent per year for further donations to institutions for scholarship purposes. Aside from limited expenses, all donations to the Foundation will be used 100% towards making scholarship monies available to the students supported by the Foundation. The Foundation has been formally accepted by the IRS as a 501(c)3 public charity (EIN 88-3155757), and all donations to the Foundation are 100% tax deductible under Federal tax law.

We established this Foundation because our family has always held a strong core value in education. The Foundation is our way of helping “pay it forward” to students in need. With the ever-increasing costs of tuition and fees we know there are students that could use our help.
