CAROLINE E. VARY

Caroline Vary has over 25 years of experience in the construction and real estate industries. She is a Partner and the Senior Managing Director of Asset Management for Jonathan Rose Companies and is responsible for a 13 million sf nationwide portfolio of green, mixed-income, multi-family housing.

Ms. Vary is focused on positive social and environmental impact in Real Estate.  Under the direction of Ms. Vary, Jonathan Rose Companies received the E.P.A’s Environmental Merit Award for Outstanding Achievements in Preserving New England’s environment. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the Regional Plan Association’s Connecticut Committee.  Ms. Vary holds a BARCH in Architecture and a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design.

Caroline and her husband William Lee, share their time between Old Greenwich, Connecticut and Gates Mills, Ohio.  Caroline and William share a love for art, architecture and design.   In their spare time, they partner on creative projects and are currently renovating a historic stone home.  Their sons Sebastian and Xavier are currently in college studying respectively at Pomona College and Brown University.

Caroline is Secretary of The Vary Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors.
