MICHAEL WILLIS VARY, SR.
Michael is a Ph.D. chemist and lawyer who has spent over four decades litigating technical and intellectual property cases.
Michael received his high school diploma at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland and received his Bachelors of Science degree at John Carroll University. After a short stint in the Chemistry Department of Case Western Reserve, he received his M.S., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry at Yale University. He then completed his formal education with a law degree at Case Western Reserve University.
Michael and his former wife, MaryBeth, have three children, Caroline, Rebecca, and Michael Jr., as well as eight, soon to be nine, grandchildren.
Michael continues to practice law in the Cleveland area, and is the founder and Chairman of the Board of The Vary Foundation.
